I USE WINAVI TO CONVERT AVI FILES TO DVD FILES AND SUDDENLY I GET A MESSAGE THT WINAVI HAS TO CLOSE AFTER A SHORT TIME.AT FIRST I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THE FAULT OF THE FILES BUT WHEN I TRIED ANOTHER FILE I GOT THE SAME THING.]

Why not contact at support@winavi.com to learn some solutions!
By the way, you can download a k-lite codec package http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm to have a try!

Besides, the latest version 6.3 of the winavi is available which can be redownloaded from http://www.winavi.com/WinAVI_Video_Converter.exe
