have seen the threads on Forgotten, Grudge and Res evil 2. IS this a new form of copy protection? Will shrink come out with an update/patch? Btw, dvd decrypter (new version) does it, yet u still gotta shrink it. haven't tried the anydvd solution yet but will soon.

I have experienced the same issue. I beleive Sony has come out with the new copy protected discs. I too have had to use DVD Decrypter first then shrink it. Fortunately, DVD Decrypter does not take as long. I'm sure someone will come out with something soon. Someone always does.

I have been able to do all these movies using Decrypter to rip to hard drive in File Mode.

This gives me the option to use Shrink or Nero Recode2 to do the encoding/compressing

If you are using a quality reader/burner you rip times should be in the 10-15 min range

If you like it, buy it. That's why you get a free trial. If you don't want to buy AnyDVD then download DVD Decryptor(freeware). It's updated release works very well also.

I think so. If you go to this site you should find out how to use this program.
