I downloaded and installed the tool. on the fist PC I tried the p2k drivers 1st (usb modem). On the second machine I tried the app software first. each time I received the following error

What is it?
Why?
What will it break?

XP SP2

No pics allowed

error 1406 could not write versionminor to key verify u have sufficient rights (I am ADMIN)\products\b2178...\InstallProperties

and then again I got the error on a different key
