Try looking for websites that sell mod-chips and accessories. Most do installations too.

LOL...I was thinking of doing the whole soldering thing as well...

But to be honest, seems like you need to be like a veteran bomb squad tech in order to do it. LOL!

Hell....I was SO going to do the soldering thing, but then someone mentioned Swap Magic, or I think it was called Swap Disk.

So, I have been wanting to try that out, because heard that the soldering of the mod chip is like delicate work.

Anyone have any comment about the swaps?

swaps = fliptop or slide card needed,

you put the original game in, flip the top, put the back up game in.

or

put original game in, use the slide card to jimmy the eject tray (you cant just hit eject), then put the back up game in.

From my understanding of swap discs anyways, i could be wrong, im a hardware only guy :)

Venom, heres a link that might help you on how to use the slide card method. Keep in mind, this method doesn't work with version 12 (slim) playstation 2s.

http://www.mod-chip.com/Lite/Slide_Card_PS2_V1-V11_Install_LITE.pdf

Hope this helped. :d
