I'm trying to see if the Swap Magic 2.0 DVD disk will work with the PStwo or if i have to get the 3.3 disks.

I'm trying to hold off on getting those for a little while i have some other stuff to get.

it will work, but you won't be able to play any games that need cd loader.

This might just be me, but my SMD cd3.0 never did work on my slimline. It still worked fine on my v4 though.
