Hello everyone!
I recently tried to burn two SVCD movies which didn?t go so well (I have done it many times before with success but now I usually use to burn on DVDs instead). The moves look like they are in Widescreen (16:9) format when I play them on my computer. When I burn them as a Super Video CD in Nero something happens because when I try to play them on my TVs (I have a 4:3 TV) DVD it?s showing them in Fullscreen (4:3) format. The TV (or DVD) is cutting the left side of the movie, its only showing 3/4 or 2/3 of the movie.
I changed some video settings on the DVD in hope of improvement, but nothing. I have tried on two DVDs and two TVs both in 4:3 format and the same error on both of them. When I played the discs on computers something else happened.
First computer: When trying to play with windows media player it said that the file was broken, and when I tried with Ulead DVD Player it worked and the movie worked correctly.
Second computer: Both windows media player and Ulead worked correctly here.
If someone know of this I would really appreciate an answer and I tried to be as specific as possible with boring people too much, hehe. If there is anything that you don?t understand about my explanation just ask and I will try to be more specific. =)
One more thing, I searched for settings in Nero and the only thing I can find was the Encoding Resolution that was set to PAL and could be changed to NTSC. You find Encoding Resolution in the first tab, Video CD. I live in Sweden so I think PAL should be correct?
Thanks in advance! =D
