I'm tryting to back-up StarWars2 I'm following the directions using dvd2svcd get to the part where you change all the #'s to 4200, etc.. hit the CD icon to find the the movie ifo hit prewiew to see if everything looks good and that's where my problem starts I keep getting some message from MicroSoft about an error and asks me if I want to submit it to MS they give you 2 choices Send or Don't Send buttons to choose from. What's the problem? I tried it with Jimmy Neutron also same thing. Is there any alternative software I could use to create DVD9 on a 4.7GB DVD-R. Also, I'm using Fuji 4.7GB DVD-R.
TIA 4 any help on this.

Well there might be a problem with the software or the settings you have set. Well you are in luck, here http://www.doom9.org/ you can download the software, tools and the guides that will teach you how to encode, decode, rip dvd, vcd, svcd. I use Veritas RecordNow to backup my Dvd's. I was wondering why were you using dvd2svcd to back-up your dvd's? That software is used to rip dvd's then encode them to fit on a cd-r to be burned as svcd format. I mean you want to back up your movies on a dvd-r not cd-r.

Thanks I was following directions I found on the web. Just got a dvd burner so yes I will be backing up on dvd-r.
