i have a magic 3.1 modchip in my ps2 but not really sure how to use it. i know it works because i had it installed by someoneelse and when i got it back it worked i guess im a fool! anyways can some one tell me what i need to do to get these backup copies to work rather its in sleep mode or what thanks for the help

I don't exactly what you mean buy "it's in sleep mode".. what's in sleep mode? if you're refering to the mod then after reseting the ps2 the mod goes back to being able to boot ps2 games.

hold the reset button (the one to switch it on) for about five seconds until it the button goes red. and then do what ever you need to do with your mod chip. hey ill give u a clue. go to this website. it is a top secert. its good for people to know. http://www.modchip.ca/install/ps2/chipmod
