Good Morning all! How are you?
I have been having an ongoing issue with my Maddog MegaSTOR 8X Double Layer Burner. My issues are related to the DVD media that I user. The one media I have been succesfull in using has been TDK 4x DVD+R and Verbatim 4x DVD+R. I just recently bought a 50 pack of TDK 8x DVD+R and I am continually getting a write error about half way through the writing process. This same error has occurred with Fuji Film 4x DVD+R. I have spoken to Maddog Multimedia and they were not that helpful and on their website it states that at least the TDK's are compatible with the drive. I have tried different software to no avail. Next thing I may try is to put the drive to another PC and see if that remedies the issue(I highly doubt it). But if anybody has this same drive out there and can be of some help or has had a similar issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
