I have Ritek ridata go4 4x media and a sony DVD RW DW-D22A 16x dual layer burner. I use dvd dcrypter and other programs and i can only burn at 4x speed. does anyone know how ican burn at 1x speed. like any firmware downloading something or configuration? thanks!!!!!!!!!

same here
i got a DVD that can be written to at 1 to 4 X
and a NEC1300A DVD WRITER
but it writes at 2.4X instead even if i chooose 1X. it seems not the DVD, but the writer doesnt support 1X

i figured it out!!!! if anyone is wondering right click my computer click properties go to te hardware tab, click device manager, double click IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. then double click primary ide channel got to the advanced settings and change both of the things to pio only and do the same with secondary the restart your computer instead of burning at 4 x i sometimes burn less than 1 x
