how does swap magic 3.3 works??? and to play a backup copy game do i need another program or swap magic will do just fine???

You just need burning software to make your backup discs like 'Dvd Decrypter'.

However, you will need a softmod to go with your swapmagic discs. If you have the older ps2 versions you will need a fliptop or slidecard to make the swap. If you have the slimline you will need either the slimtool, fliptop, or tapemod.

For the slimline pstwo, i originally did the tapemod, since it was pretty much the first fix out for it. And i have been using it since. (about 3 or 4 months)

It worked fine, so i never bothered changing it, it was free and took minutes to do.
Either other choice you take will cost you around 20-30 bucks probably. The replacement fliptop for the slimline basically does the same thing to your system as the tapemod, only you pay for it.

Really it's pretty much a preference thing.

As for the slimtool, the nice thing about this is that you can quickly and easily take one of the parts out, incase the need arises for a recognized swap.

i iam sorry if i am ignorent but what is a tape mod and how do you do it????
and another question, wich site is the best to buy the swap magic 3.3.. is it safe to use the credit card. i live in canada , will i have problems to receive the swap magic???

The tape mod is basically just opening up the console and taping down 2 little sensors that let the ps2 know when the lid is opened and closed. Taping it down makes it think it is always closed, so it doesn't realize you're swapping.

is it safe to use swap magic with the slim-size? i heard the ps2 have problem with the laser len when combined with internal modchip. How long have you had your ps2? and what's your opinion about the used of swap magic? and any problem with it?

I have had my slimline modded for over 3 months now and am using SwapMagic with my tape mod. Never had a problem yet. But the main issue then was the first batch or so of ps2's had the bad lasers in them. Nothing to do with SwapMagic.
