We could all do with that miracle hangover cure every now-and-again. (Every Saturday right...LOL) andmerr suggested this for a safety valve thread a while back, but I guess he didnt get round to it, so I thought I'd start one off.
1)Andrews liver salts
2)Lemsip direct
3)Another beer
4)Stay in bed, roll over, go back to sleep
5)Another beer
6)home made orange juice
7)A long hot shower
8)Another beer
9)Drink of water before bed
10)eat a bananna as they contain potassium (uuuggh hate bananas)
11)A greasy fry up (Bacon, eggs, sausages etc...)
12)Fingers down the throat. Yeeeuuuuuuurch! That's better?
13)Another beer
14)Raw eggs in milk before you go out to drink
What works for you.........?

Before sleep do the following:
1. Eat a package of Melba toast
2. Drink water
If too drunk to remember that in the morrning:
1. Drink water
2. Take two Ibuprofen. (Never Never take acetaminophen if you have been drinking)
Alchol upregulates a protein that converts acetaminophen into a toxic compound that will kill you.

-a long island iced tea

-eat fries (helps absorb the alchy-hol)

use chaser tablets, I use them all the time when i drink. They prevent hangovers, they always work for me. I don't know if they have then in other countys but they have them in the U.S.A. You just take two every 6 drinks you have and they say you will never get a hangover, I think they work because the last 5 times I drank i did not have a hangover... and I am a heavy drinker. Also not drinking will keep you from having a hangover.

I tried those once and they didn't do crap. Most people I talk to that do use them say that you have to take them a few hours before you start drinking so they're in your system before the alcohol is.
My personal feeling is that if you're going to drink, deal with the consequences of having a headache the next day. If you're going to smoke week, live with losing brain cells. If you're going to...you get the picture

Have you ever had a hangover while out drinking? In your drunkin state, are you hungover? The answer....No. My advice, if you are always drunk, you wont have a hangover....

Poutine I wouldn't recomend. It tastes good the mornign after but then you puke and spew it out. YOu look down and think hey that looks like when I ordered it. So it puts you off buying it for a while.
Taz, acetaminophen is most commonly called Tylenol. But if I say don't use tylenol I could get sued, so I use the chemical name. Also Ibuprofen is commoly know as Motrin or Advil. and if your curious Asprin is actually called acetylsalicylic acid. So if you want to be cool you can say your doing acid when you take headace meds.

but what about the acetominephen suppositories? those should probably work, right? can you do those while you're still drinking, like right there at the bar? I'm sure some bars would allow that. I shall not visit those bars. Thos erinstructions were hysterical.
