When capturing video and TV files to MPEG2 using Win PVR 4.1.229 (latest), in spite of all HDDs on the computer being formatted to NTFS, the programme insists on breaking recordings into 2048Mb files as per Fat 32 file systems which is contrary to the manufacturers specs. This is singularly frustrating while adding hugely to the processing, not always successful. There appears to be no way to stop it on the programme interface. Is it a registry problem and if so, how can it be corrected?
My gear is Pentium 4 2.8GHz CPU, Leadtek GeForce 4 Ti 4800 SE video card, WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe TV card, 1Gb memory and 3 partitioned HDDS all with NTFS formatting (the largest is 250GB for video storage)
