Like the rest of you it seems that the Nero software if as fickle as the wind.

Luckily I appear to have gotten it to work properly ......BUT, I still have one problem.

I now have Nero image drive working, but showtime can not play the digital image file - says somthing along the lines of " NOT A DVD MOVIE STRUCTURE".

It takes a long time and heaps of CPU ( 3.2ghz) running at 99% for 1hr+ to create a full digital backup copy of a DVD which I save as an image file. Only to find that it cannot be played....arrrrrrgh.

The file is great - usually reduces a 7gb movie to around 3-4gb.

The image file can be opened and the individual files played via showtime- but why WHY WHY WHY WHY wont it play the image file when I mount it to the image drive and try to play via showtime. It chokes just because it contains MP4 ( digital files)?????
