Princo DVD-R isn't working

I burned FIFA Street on a N.E.X.U. DVD+R DVD and it worked on my ps2
I bought 100 Princo DVD-Rs(for 33$)
These dvds have a purple-blueish color
When i burned FIFA Street on it using Alcohol 120%, it didnt work 3 times
I tried three different speeds:1.5x, 3.5x, And 4x
When i put the dvd in the ps2, i get the playstation 2 screen(the normal one found in each ps2 dvd before the game loads) then i get a blank screen and the game doesn't load!
I have no clue what modchip i have all i know is i have one where copy ps2-dvds work and i dont know my ps2 console version either but if u know a way that i can check please tell me and i will do that.

When using PRINCO DVD-R media and also ProdiscS03 media, I have run into problems where some DVD Players cannot recognize that there is even a disk in it. My Sony Media never fails me. I believe you hit the nail on the head by showing what media you use. Try a different media, name brand, and see what happens.

Princo is 1 of the worst discs you can use. You could have got 100 ritek discs for just a little more.
