I'm still kind new to burning, but here's what happens! I tried to make a copy of an already burned cd-r disc with some music files on them using Nero 6 and had problems! There were 18 tracks on the cd and it burned well or so I thought. While playing the newly burned copy and by the time it got to the 11 song it stated skipping and every song after that was even worse! The first 10 tracks played fine! The original burned copy I was trying to copy played flawlessly too! I tried again and again to burn the same disc, slowing the burning speed, and even ripping the files first to Windows Media Player and then burning again to cd. No matter what I did, when it got to track 11 and each song thereafter, they was messed up! I wasted about 6 cd-rs doing this. The only way I got it to burn flawlessly was to burn the files that were ripped from the copy to WMP to cd using Windows Media Player's burning application. Of course it took much longer, but every song plays well! My question is what happened here with the Nero and what can I do to prevent it from happening again? I've burned copies of original cd's using my Nero witout a problem before, but this was the first time I tried with a burned copy already. The weird thing to me was that even after ripping the files to the hard drive, and burning to cd, it still messed up on track 11-18 using the Nero burning software. Any suggestions for this Newbie?
