The first thing you need to do, is check how much space all those files you are pulling off the DVD will take up in hard drive space.

For example, I created a 20gig partition on one drive just for this...so any movie, 4.7, 8.8, 9.0+gig size movies will have no problem being converted to that space.

If you want, you can just rip the movie itself with no menus, no options...no special selections...etc, buy just grabbing the .VOB and associated files.

I did the movie Ray, but I believe it needed compression(even with movie only). So you have to rip first with DVD Decrypter, and then open the files in DVD Shrink, and edit as needed.
good luck

How much unused hard drive space do you have? DVD Decrypter and Shrink both save the files to your hard drive even if you burn straight to disc. So if you're using Decrypter for a movie (let's say it's 7.8 gig) then running it through Shrink to compress you'll have used up approx 12.1 gig of hard drive space. Doing a few movies this way will eat up alot of your hard drive if you don't delete the files created from both of these programs.
I usually use AnyDVD with Nero Recode - the file created is only temporary and deleted automatically once burned - this is the default setting.

Good point. Everything points to your HD being out of room, based on what you are saying so:

How much HD space do you have now?

Open My Computer and right click on HD and click properties. It will tell you how much free space you have.

How much space is left on your hard drive? That seems to be your problem using Decrypter.
To copy Ray I would suggest downloading the free trial version of AnyDVD (slysoft.com). It will run in the background while you're using Shrink. AnyDVD wll take care of the protection that Shrink can't.

Decrypter and AnyDVD are the 2 best ones out there to crack the new codes. These are the only that I know of that will crack them (I could be wrong -there may be a few more) It sounds like you can't use Decrypter because you do not have enough space left on your hard drive.
Are you sure you have deleted both the files created from Decrypter and Shrink? Are you also deleteing files in your recycle bin? How much hard drive space is free?
You will keep getting this error with Decrypter until some space is freed (enough for the movie at least)
You can buy AnyDVD - it'a actually worth the $40.
