I'm not sure if anyone has come across this problem, but if so, I would really appreciate your help.

After recording stuff on my DVD recorder from the TV, I would like to trim out all the adverts and drop the finished article onto a disc for me to keep.

I have managed to import the programmes successfully, and have also edited them successfully, cutting out the adverts. But before I can then write them to DVD I have to export them first (if I go straight to recording them onto the disc, then it exports them automatically anyway). My problem is that when I replay the programme, after exporting, where I have cut out the adverts, the audio of the last 5-10 secs from the adverts is still there, playing over the pictures of the next section of the programme. Does this make sense? Anyway, the audio gets back to normal after this time, but it just spoils the whole thing! The only way I an see of getting around the problem at the moment is to leave 10 secs of adverts in - which defeats the object of having software for editing!
