Perhaps I am doing something very silly, or maybe I am missing something?

Anyway new XBOX (1.6b), plugged into my router which gives out DHCP, tried pinging the range and nothing showed up.

Set the xbox to static IP (192.168.10.60, mask 255.255.255.0)

My PC is 192.168.10.7 and I cannot ping the xbox, nor connect using ftp

What am I doing wrong?

I have both orange and green leds showing on the xbox, plus my hub shows a connection and I have tried two cables :-)
