I need help! :o)

OK, so here's the situation. I had a backup that froze when it hit the loading screen.

Then I tried this:

After burning it with 1x speed the game still freezes.
I've been searching the forum all day for the answer but no luck.

Only thing I've come up with is this myth about dvdricks patch which seems to be unreachable.
