Im going to buy some Ritek DVD-Rs and i need to know whether or not there is a difference betweem the 4x or 8x Riteks if i am going to burn at 4x (because my burner fails when it burns lower thatn 4x) Also is there a difference between G04, G05, and the ones that just Ritek? I am going to use them for my v4 ps2 and so need to know if they Riteks high quality or not.

Heres the best 2 i found

Ritek DVD-R 4x G04

I heard some complains about the Ritek Go5 messes up your back up, and since your back up will be terrible screwed up if you burn faster than 4x (to my experience), there will be no reason to buy 8X. If you can, try burning at 2X, even better 1 X.

First off, i have only had one case in which the playstation did not play a burned dvd disc. I have use + and - DVDs by a few different brand like ty and liteon but i mainly uses Ritek Ridatas. I would say these are probably the best media you can get for you money. Some people complain that they don't have a shiny finish but that doesn't bother me. As for your 4X or 8X concern i think thats something you will have to test for yourself. My burner (Lite-on 812S) has never had a problem with either. I had been buying 100 packs of 4X because i would share them with my friend and his burner only went up to 4X. I just purchased some 8X ridatas because they had a rebate and were cheaper.

check these out and read other peoples reviews
