Using DVD Backup...can't get rid of subtitles!!

I use DVD Backup to get an AVI of my movies, so that I can store them on my hard drive. Problem is, I cannot seem to get rid of the sub titles. For making an actual dvd-r backup of my movies, I use dvd decrypter, then dvd clone2, which works excellent btw. First is there something I am missing when using DVD Backup, or secondly, could I use one of my other programs to accomplish the conversion to avi without subtitles?
