what type of dvds should i use to make sure the dvds work on most standalone players and ps2

I've had flawless results with TDK 8x -r TTG02, and all manner of Taiyo Yuden disks with that burner. All of those burns played fine in both my PS2 and my other stand alone dvd player. They do have a media compatability list that I have found to be quite accurate. You can find it here:
