Ok so i just lord of the rings, and when i back it up it doesn't want to start, is this because of the PAL or NTSC thing and if it is how can a rename the.xbe (what software)

It can't be a NTSC/PAL thing (if you're in a NTSC region they wouldn't carry PAL games).

It may be the media that you're using. Have you used the same media to make other backups?
