Anyone knows if it`s legal to download a movie that i already own on VHS(so i can record it on DVD-R),it saves me hassle since i have about 50 VHS movies.
Logicaly i would say yes...
but law doesnt make that much sense..

(sry if there is similar forum on it

yes, if you own the video then you are entitled to make a personal backup/archive copy. Copying it to a DVD is perfectly legal

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
