Ok, first I want to apologize for posting what I'm sure you all have heard before.
I have a version 7 PS2. I want to get it setup to play backup copies. What is the best route to go? Even better, got a link to more info? I know there are several ways (Mod Chips,Solderless Chips,Swap Methods)
Any opinions or comments please. I couldn't find any specific info on the search.
Yea I looked at it. But it is kinda general. Maybe I'm asking too much, but does anyone have a personal opinion? I wanna buy a backup player solution and I want to get on the right track.
ok, again:
are you good at soldering or want to pay someone to solder the chip for you
or would you rather have an easy install and have to swap a disc every time you wan't to play a backup.
with a chip your ps2 will just play the backup as if it was an oriigonal . also there are some games that require patches and things to get a copy of it to work with the swap discs .
