My dvd burner Liteon 16x DVD-+R/ DVD-+RW drive

I have a dvd burner drive 16x DVD-+R/ DVD-+RW drive with double layer writing. I am trying to burn xbox games on Verbitim DVD-R when i do and play it on my xbox it goes black during i click start of the game or sometimes it says check the cd it maybe damaged or dirty. but i use a brand new disk. would could be the problem ?

I have a friend who burns games for me he doesnt tell me how so i can buy it from him instead but all i know is he uses the same disk that i used verbitm DVD-R and hes copy works just find on my xbox. all he tells me is that he uses the xbox dvd drive to burn the games ?

I am using DVD decrypter to burn the xbox iso games but still when i play it on my xbox turns black as soon i click start in the games menu.

Doesn't sound like too much of a friend to me...

Try burning as slow as possible, also finalize the disc.

I know he takes advantage of me. i dont like that it pisses me of.

I did burn in 1x and tryied again on 2x still dosnt work for me. i have no idea what is the problem

How do you mean finalize the disc ? I use DVD Decrypter and i select Verifiy. is that what you mean ?

i would recommend using Nero burning rom to burn the iso to dvd at slowest speed.

I am using Verbatim DVD-R media and all of my backups work great. Try to use xbox c-tool utility.

I just made a backup a game that is about 4.59gig and it worked great! I think it is the utility that you used to create the iso and burning th iso.
