I installed the Matrix Infinity chip and noticed that my platstation constanly boots to configuration mode where it starts off by asking for a language.

Its acting like its being turned on for the first time every time I boot the PS2. I see the old style Playstation logo appear then it asks you to enter the language and time.

I'm guessing I have a short some place but want to know if others have expereinced this problem after a mod chip install.

you may have a solder bridge some were , if you cant find 1 disconnect the cdvd contoller wires , they are the wires you soldered to the back of the board .
