Hello all,
First post here. I would like to know I want to put a hard drive in a friend's PS2. It is an older, larger size PS2. I have hard drives ranging from 4 gigs to all the way to 120 gigs. When I open the expansion port of the PS2 and slide the drive into it what cable do I need to plug it into the PS2 itself. And after I hook it in does it format the drive itself or do I have to do it myself???
Thanks
Ed

you have to have a network adaptor, and NO the ps2 will not recognize it. What are you trying to do with the hd.

you need either hd loader or hd advance to run games off the hd.

yes, since you have to ftp from the xbox to your computer. Your computer can read ps2 games. As for installing a modchip, its about the same.
