IM problems with v220

I have been having problems using Instant Messenger on my Motorola v220 phone. I can sign in with my username and view my buddy list, I can even send messages but when people send me messages I do not recieve them. I called the cingular tech people and spent an hour with them on the phone and they couldn't figure it out. I am not sure what the problem is or if there is any way to fix it but any help would be appreciated.. Thanks.

sometimes the IM doesnt work with V220 proberly so what u have to do is install the IM again and c if it works...
