I'm trying to backup my Old School DVD, but right as I go to backup, a window pops up and says
"DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Copy protection error
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

Any help would be great!

You need to make sure the disc is as clean as possible. Buff it out the best you can. Even the slightest mar can effect the ripping process. Good luck.

This is most likly the copy right. Go and download the 21 day trial of AnyDVD. when you have that on your comp. open it up and on the top are tabs. click on the program tab and make sure the enable AnyDVD option is checked. After that try your DVD Shrink again.

This movie isn't a problem for decrypter.(even an older version could rip it) I used shrink(older version) and nero a long ass time ago and had no problems.

Thanks guys!
I just used a guide created by ScubaPete I believe.
(hope I got his name right)
I just used Decrypter, then Shrink, then Decrypter again. Worked perfect!
Well I'm off to do Kill Bill.
