Hello to all, i have a ps2 slim and i purchased a magic switch.
I've already put the 3 parts, but when i turn on the ps, the
cd/dvd wont start spinning. This has to do with the tool c,
right? You can see a photo below. Can you tell me what's
wrong?

ps.a friend of mine downloaded a file said to be the swap magic
v3.3. It contains 2 folders (one for cds, one for dvds). Each
one contains 4 files with the same name (Swap Magic 3.3 cd/dvd
version) but with different end => .ccd , .cue , .img , ,sub .
How can i burn them to a cd/dvd and try it? How will i find out
if it is really the sm v3.3?

Please help, i'm a newby... :-(

I had the same problem with that sensor follow the tutoriol here http://www.jspot.net/ps2.htm
I didnt like the fact i couldnt close the lid so i tried the tape trick, unfortunately the tape wouldnt stay in place for more than a few hours, so i used a small piece of Blu Tack instead of the tape, (make sure you work it well between your fingers), and then i put a small piece of paper on top of it so that when the lid is closed the piece that presses the switch down is not sticking to the Blu Tack and lifting it from the switch. The lid now closes without any problem and i can open it and close it while the game is playing without a problem ( why you would want too i dont know:) )
