hello guys,

I have a problem. i have winavi video converter to convert AVI movies to .VOB. then i burn them using Nero v6. the problem is that some of the movies work great using the dvd player "Philips". the other movies work fine but colorless. what is the problem and how can i fix it.

You may want to check when and where things start to go wrong:
1) do the original avis have color?
2) after converting to .vobs, do the .vobs have color
3) then burn with Nero to harddisk first and check whether the resulting movies have color
If you can pinpoint the above, then more people may be able to help.

Are you converting them as PAL or NTSC and what region do you live in PAL or NTSC?

Whould also help greatly if we know exactly where the problem accurs like scf_au has suggested above..

the original movies have color. the problem accurs after converting to VOB. you know what, i live in america "NTSC" but when using winavi, i don't choose NTSC niether PAL. i leave the default choice "auto". this might be the problem : D. i will try choosing NTSC and will tell u the results : )
