ok i have a recording in a vob file. i want to send it as a dvd to some relatives in america and i need to change it from pal to ntsc.

can somebody tell me of a software that can change my vob from pal to ntsc.

Sure,

You can use copying proghram to find out what it is:
Using CloneDVD2 OR AnyDVD -

When you use AnyDVD, ~> right-click the Fox head in your task bar and choose information and it will tell you everything about the DVD, Video file etc.
It is a "must have" program for anyone thinking about copying a DVD for backup etc.

Using CloneDVD2, go to Title configuration (the first page), "Browse" for your file or disc at the top of the page and all the info will show up on the right-side of the page.
