Hello I'm using a 120 gb maxtor hd on version 4 ps2. Right now I am currently using hd advance 2.o to load my games on the ps2 hd and I have three questions I wonerded if there were any better alternatives to hd advance or if there was way to get hd advance to load every time with out having to insert the cd every time you want to load it. Finally how would you get emulators on to the ps2 for systems such as segea or snes (super mario brothers 3 rocks!!)? Is this even possible? any help would be apprecated.

so your telling me if i mod the ps2 with the dm4 lite chip i could use hd advance as bios to boot from. Would i have to flash the chip like on an xbox? or could i just put it on a memory card?
the chip does need a flash, there are some forums that make it freely available to download, pm me for more on that.
once its flashed you can use two devolution modes,
1 that boots anything off a memory card, ie hdadvance
2 that boots anything off a hard drive, ie hdadvance.
You can go into the settings, and tell it when you turn the unit on, it should boot straight to the memory card, it should boot straight to the hard drive, it should boot normal, or it should fast boot (skips ps2 logo and goes straight to game , from disc)
There is also a safety feature incase your power goes out during flashing etc etc.
