problem with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6

i converted my mpeg movies to dvd using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 and the movies play fine on my computer but when i play the disc on my dvd player the sound is not match right with the video. is there any way to fix this? any help is appreciated.
