excessive head cleaning

i have a hc30 and i keep getting the message ' heads need cleaning '
i know this will need doing but it seems a bit too frequent

i uce the camera to film off road dirt biking butthe camera is zipped away in a good bum bag as i use a remote head camera
i very rarely open the camcorder to change the tape and if i do i am very carefull

it seems that almost every secont time i use it it displays this message, i run the head cleaner and it seem ok

is there anything i can do to misimise this or anyhting that may be causind this unduely
