how do i switch my hdd to master im using a 20 gig maxtor

on the back of the hdd, are pins, there should be a jumper in there. you would need to take that jumper out and put it on whatever pin sets it to master.

all hdds are different in settings so check out the hdd, usually there is a diagram right on it.
