HELP!!!! Samsung TS-H552b Burner

Is there anyone here using this same burner. I've had a few (5-6)successful burns using Interdvd Copy 2. Now the burner will not begin to write when I initiate a burn. It only spins up when inserting new media. I haven't upgraded the firmeware yet, but who knows if this will help? I'm using the same media as before, Phillips 8x -R.

i downloaded an update program direct from samsung and it still wont burn cds i taking mine back to the shop for a refund its a crock of shit
