I just installed an xecter 3 on my xbox but when i try to boot it, it turns green three times then it turns green/red and stays like that flashing. The hdd light is on but not my lan light. the x light is red. What can i do to fox this?

check you install. check the modchip and make sure that it is tighlt fitted on the motherboard.

Just like Modster Just said, your chip is not alligned right on the LPC bridge. Check your install.

i had my xbox for allmost a yeah now, and today that red/green like shit came up. do you still think it's the installment?

No doubt thats called fragging-I'd have whoever installed it check the solder joints-if ti was working then one fo the joints probably went bad
