I use vegas video 4.0

For some reason I can no longer upload video from my camera to the computer. Also, when I render my video into .avi and I try to view it, only sound plays, and it tells me there was an "error downlaoding codec"

I used AVIcodec and input the previously mentioned avi file into it. It says that my computer has all the codecs needed for the file.

So I am pretty much completely lost... Thanks in advance for any posts/help.
