I have installed the PS2 flip top, it aint readin any discs at all once i installed the flip top, however when i put the old cover back on, all cds load fine. im using a v6 pal ps2.
It also makes a really loud noise when trying to read dvd's/cd's with the flip top on, im not sure what the problem is.
Try putting on the flip top lid, but do not put the screws back in the bottom. Mine did that too when i first installed it, i guess it was too tight for some reason because when i put the top back on without the screws in the bottom it has worked fine ever since.
I have put the white bit in correctly. I tried it with no screws but still not loading any discs. I am not sure what is the prob, ive tried puttin some weight on it, but the noise just becomes louder.
