I have a copy of "bourne supremecy" i want to back-up.
the original dvd size is 7.51GB. The Movie is about 5GB and the extras about 2.5GB. I used steel 25% of the extras for the movie. My problem is that it compressed the dvd down to 3.78GB. Why is this?
should it not have compresed it down to about 4.3GB

If any one can help in this matter i would be very grateful

barny,

I am assuming that you are using a version of DVD-Rebuilder with some version of CCE. You are not clear what application you are using.

Post your message under this thread for best results. Most DVD-RB users follow this thread on a regular basis. You may wish to recheck your configuration with DVD-RB. This is a common issue were there is an error in the configuration. The average DVD rebuilder
output is from 4.32 - 4.36GB.

Good analysis he is definitely using DVDrebuilder but not necessarily with CCE.

barny

Could you provide more info? And I'm especially interested in your setup and app versions (Avisynth version a must).

Sophocles,

i thought there would be a response from "barny" in this thread or at least a new comment in the DVD-RB thread after a few days.

Time will be the ultimate judge.
