D/L games off DC

OK now there are a lot of gams on DC obviously but i have no experience with d/l full version games off the net.
I didn't think it was possible because i thought you needed the cd untill i was told by two people that you dont.
Can someone give me info on how to do this?

Well, the technique what is needed is so called virtual CD/DVD-drive. There are several such kind of softwares what makes it possible, one popular program used is Daemon Tools to mention about. There are others as well. Anyway, the virtual drive makes it possible to open image files (bin/cue, iso, etc....)as if they would appear like in normal cd/dvd-rom drive. Only difference is of course that files are actually on your hd allready.

ok i finished downloading and it said it was the ripper for the game...it is gta 3 and the file size is 130 mb...it then extracted the files but thats all im able to do, what do i do?

OK i gave another game that i downloaded before a shot and it is the black thors game.(ghost recon?).
OK then i got past that extracting stuff i think then it installed the game and it was fine cause i saw the menus and stuff then i setup my game but when i was about to start the actual gameplay it says that i have to put in the cd.
But i have daemon tools now...do i have to do something with daemon?

OK i got gta 3 to work which is cool.
I also got Black Thorns to work but the only way i can play is multiplayer but it doesn't bother me cause i dont like the game that much newayz.
Thx for the help, i think im getting the hang of it.
Is it pretty much the same for all games...
Where you just have to do the first extra step like extracting the files and stuff...cause if so then thats cool.
I wanna d/l a few more now but i dont know much good pc games...

it sounds like you got the rip, what you do is d/l the iso or bin (whole cd) install everything to the hdd and find a program that disables the check for the cd. that way you can play the game you bought without having to go search for the cd.

yea cool.
Do you think you can maybe gimme a list of games that are really good on the pc?
I went to some pc websites its just there are so many games and hard to find which ones are good.
