my dad ripped it to the hdd using dvd X copy, and it said if the xtra feat's /audio was removed it would fit on the DVD+R. i had to leave for work and the dvd was returned to the video store, and my dad said that a message showed up stating it was 4.8gb and would not burn? is this a DVD-9 then? thx

Blown105_, how do you differentiate the menus from the movie in dvdxcopy? I tried the movie only, and the size was 4.4g. Dvdxcopy tried to burn into two disks.

DVD Decrypt it then put it thru DVD2One ...I had no problems with it at all it burn't fine ......also worked well when doing it with DVD Shrink also if you want the extras?? I personally dont care for them and they reduce the quality of the film slightly I found

don't know anything about dvd x copy .....only x-copy I ever used was for My amiga's damm that seems like lite years ago now

I've never used DVDXCopy but the usable space on a DVD-R is 4.489 GB.
