I just wanted to know if any mod chip will work, I have the mini PS2. And Im trying to find a modchip that will let me back up my games. and if i need a special program for ripping and burning them. please get back to me Thanks alot

but i have no idea what a mini PS2 is.

for the slim ps2 use the magic kx+, safest way to go. Id apply the summone fix's as well.

All you need for backing up games is nero, there isnt any special programs etc. The only game we cant copy yet is GT4 , because of the special way its layers are burned. it is a dvd9 game so doesnt cause much alarm. As you require DVD-R DL discs which are around $10 each.
