what i would like to do is edit the audio of a dvd befor burning to backup.

ripping to hard drive is easy, but is it possible to isolate the audio, then use something like cooledit to edit the audio stream befor backing up to dvd.

it is just small segments of audio i wish to edit, and its only in sterio, not 5.1


if anyone is a quantum leap fan, you can guess exactly what i want to do with season 2.
