I can't burn a dvd with any software!!!

Hi all, i am trying to back up a dvd called layer cake i have tried dvd x, dvd decrypter etc etc, is there something out there.

have you tried DVD Shrink? just thinking of freeware I could mention. Tons of software I could name, but it be costin' you money...

Do a search on layer cake. It has been covered in a lot of threads already.

Decrypter will do it with a PSL File or you can take the easy way out and buy AnyDVD.

what is a PSL file? my DVD Decrypter does not work on new movies, and i was told this would help.

yes i did download it. i also imported those psl numbers i located in this forum. it still gets to the last movie file then says sector read error cannot continue. DVD Shrink gives me the I/O overlap error message. they worked on a couple of movies, but the two i am trying to backup now just won't go any further, shrek 2 and meangirls. i have any dvd running also, but it does nothing.

Try turning off AnyDVD for now. Make sure the disc is as clean as possible and buff it out the best you can. Even the slightest mar can effect the ripping process. Once this is done try again with decrypter. Let us know how it went.

Make sure the psl is correct.

DVDD 3.5.3.0 is out and should support LayerCake w/o the use of importing a psl file.
