samsung are great discs. you might want to try beall since its the same manufacturer.

i used samsung media manufactured by beall. catfreak used beall media. i didn't think there would be such a difference. i haven't used samsung for video but it works great for ps2 games. hope this helps.

Samsung disks are manufactured by the following
BeAll
Taiyo Yuden
Ritek

I would say if you got the ones from Taiyo Yuden you would be good to go..

the ones from Ritek probablly Ok

The ones from BeALL would be taking a chance on a known poor media manufacturer..

I would call them and ask what the manufacturer code ID is on them. If they won't tell you forget about them. This is just my opinion :-)
