i need some help i have got a downloaded file and i am trying to put it onto a dvd disk but 1. i dont know if my computor can copy dvds 2. i dont know if the file is able to be put onto cd. any help woul be greatly appreciated

First thing is we need a little more info..

1. System specs? Model #/ Name
2. What type of file have you downloaded?
3. What programs do you currently have installed?
4. Do you want to be able to play this file or movie in a stand alone DVD player?
